The full purchasing workflow
Shopify merchants shouldn't need four apps and a spreadsheet to restock. Everything below is included.
- Purchase orders. Create, email and track as many as your business needs, across every location.
- Receiving and landed cost. Full or partial receiving, with freight and fees allocated into the unit cost.
- Stocktakes and adjustments. Blind counts, cycle schedules, counting links for staff, and a permanent audit trail.
- Reordering. Reorder points from your sales, and a buy plan grouped by supplier that becomes draft POs, or draft builds for the things you make.
- Bills of materials and builds. Recipes with raw materials in their own units, builds that move components out and finished goods in, work in progress, yield and the assembled cost. In early access and free.
- Labels, alerts and reports. Barcode and price labels, stock alerts to Slack and email, and 23 reports with CSV export.
- Your data stays yours. CSV export everywhere, and your inventory stays in Shopify because Stockroom writes through to it.
Accounting sync is our business
Stockroom comes from the MyWorks team. Our product is MyWorks Sync, which syncs Shopify stores to their accounting: orders, inventory and more. If you want your purchase orders and bills flowing into QuickBooks too, that is a paid MyWorks Sync subscription. Everything in Stockroom itself is free and works without it.

Is there a catch?
No. Stockroom is free to install and use. Our business is MyWorks Sync, which syncs Shopify stores to their accounting: orders, inventory and more. Merchants who want their purchasing in QuickBooks subscribe to that. Everyone else just uses the app.
Is there a limit on purchase orders or suppliers?
No. Purchase orders, suppliers and SKUs are unlimited, and there is no tier that limits them.
Is manufacturing part of the free app?
Yes. Bills of materials, builds, materials and production planning are in early access, which means we are still building them out, and they are free like everything else here. No trials, no credit card.
Do I need QuickBooks to use Stockroom?
No. Stockroom works on its own, with no reduced mode and no nagging. Connect QuickBooks through MyWorks only if you want it.
Do I need Shopify POS Pro?
No. Stockroom works on any Shopify plan. POS features are there if you use Shopify POS, but nothing depends on it.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Export everything as CSV first: suppliers, stock settings, PO history and counts. Your inventory itself lives in Shopify, because Stockroom writes through to it.
